Restaurant gains highly commended recognition

A Blyth restaurant has been highly commended in a national competition.

The Pan Ahar, in Elliott Street, Newsham, was entered into the annual Tiffin Cup by local MP Ronnie Campbell.

The competition is run by the House of Commons where every MP in the country puts forward an entry from their constituency.

It is the third time the tandoori restaurant has been invited to the final in London, where they were presented with a certificate and embroidered chef’s jacket to mark the achievement.
