Retirement age is discrimination

I AM writing to ‘thank’ Northumberland County Council.

Because of its archaic policy on age discrimination, I was forced to leave my position of employment because I had reached the age of 65.

Despite my appeals they still chose to finish me, in spite of the money it had cost them to train me and put me through my NVQ 3.

I am thanking them because I have found a new and more enjoyable job.

So beware all employees of the council who are 65 before October of this year, you will lose your job because of your age.
