Reunion for ex students

A reunion is being organised for pupils who attended a school that no longer exists.

Malcolm Scott is organising the Class of 66 gathering for former pupils of Blyth Grammar School who started there in 1966.

He said: “We are all 60 now and as time continues to pass by at a rapid rate we are hoping to get together to meet old chums.

“We have managed to contact many old friends who are coming along, but we still have a way to go and are also hoping to find some ex-teachers.”

The event is on May 2 at 7pm in The Masonic Buildings in Blyth.

Former pupils and teachers who would like to attend can contact Malcolm on or call 07525 149815.
