Reunion is seeking out ex-students

Organisers of a school reunion in the county are still looking for a number of former pupils to get in touch and hopefully attend the event.

Malcolm Scott, who attended Blyth Grammar School in Tynedale Drive, Cowpen Estate, is looking for former pupils from the class of 1966 to attend a get together.

“We are looking for pupils to join us, and we already have an ex-pupil coming over from Sydney in Australia whose mum and dad used to be the landlords of the Kings Head in Blyth,” he said.

Organisers are looking for a series of former pupils including: Alma Cobb, Jacqueline Cousins, Maurice Crosby, Anne French, Tony Fitch, Karen Gibson, Susan Goodwill, Richard Hakin, Anne Haley, Tom Harris, Linda Hartshorne, Rob Henstock, Joan Hepplewhite, David Hunter, Elaine Jenkinson, David Kirkpatrick, Susan Lawrence, Rita Maddison (Lee), Ian Marlow, Mary McLuskey, Margaret Mitchison (Gordon), Tom Naisby, Dorothy Patrick, Maureen Price (Murray), Derek Reynolds, Helen Rooney, George Ross, Rachael Ross, Martin Thomas, Mary Thomas, David Vose, Eric Wilkinson, Barbara Williams, Steven Williams, Gary Wilson, Malcolm Wilson, and Jeff Yellowley.
