Cramlington Rockets Rugby League FC has partnered up with Rhino Rugby League, one of the leading brands in world rugby.

Rhino – the official ball partner for the Betfred Super League, the Four Nations, Ladbrokes Challenge Cup, Kingstone Press Championship and Kingstone Press League 1 – will provide balls and training equipment to Cramlington Rockets.

The local club now has more than 230 players on its books, and with an ever expanding schools network through its award-winning community arm, there is an added requirement for balls and equipment.

Cramlington Rockets chairman Jeff Ball said: “For any rugby club, having the best equipment for our members is important and as we continue to grow, so do our requirements.

“Therefore, we are excited to be working with a company like Rhino Rugby League. They are world leaders in their field and do be able to provide our members with the same make of equipment as their heroes in the professional game will really add to the playing environment.”

Rhino rugby director Tony Colquitt said: “Cramlington Rockets represent what is great about grassroots rugby league. Their values, attitude and approach to growing the sport are strong examples of amateur rugby league at its best. It is important for us at Rhino Rugby League to support all levels of the sport.”
