A county MP is launching a competition to find the best export from his constituency to be showcased as part of the Exported by Britain Campain.
The campaign jointly run by the All-Party Parliamentary Manufacturing Group (APMG) and the All-Party Parliamentary Design and Blyth valley MP Ronnie Campbell is now seeking nominationsvia email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Mr Campbell said: “This is an excellent opportunity for businesses in my constituency to showcase their company that export their product.”
Speaking at the launch of the campaign earlier this year, former Secretary of State Vince Cable, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, saidthe nominations made so far are “absolutely fundamental to getting export success.
“It’s not often that parliamentarians manage to engage in this kind of way with significant segments of British business. It’s a great platform for displaying the great things of manufacturing”.
The campaign will close with a Parliamentary reception at the end of this year.
