The 26-year-old, a specialist in animal photography, is a keen showjumper, so she was only too happy to sponsor the class for best ridden horse at a Blyth and Bedlington District Riding Club memorial show on Monday, May 2.

“I’ve been riding horses since I was six, and my horse is stabled in Cramlington, my home town,” she said.

“I’ve ridden in a few shows in the area, and my last horse used to be stabled in Haltwhistle.

“I see a lot of the region’s beautiful countryside, and between this, my horse-riding and being a dog owner, there have always been opportunities for great photographs in front of me.

“I mainly do pet and equine photography, and I love meeting new animals.

“I’m very excited. I’m hoping to get a lot of new clients out of this sponsorship deal.”

Proceeds from the show, being held at Bedlington’s Lane Farm Equestrian in memory of club founder Vera Harrison, will go to the oncology unit at Ashington’s Wansbeck General Hospital.
