One of the world’s biggest technology companies has been showcasing the benefits of a ‘digital classroom’ to local students.
Google brought it’s new roadshow to Cramlington Learning Village, where pupils experienced first-hand what technology has to offer classrooms and teachers.
The roadshow spent two days at the school where teachers were able to get hands-on with the technology, ask questions and learn from their peers.
Phil Spoors, assistant headteacher and E-Learning leader at Cramlington Learning Village, said:“Google was our first choice as a platform because of its capacity to transform learning and engage students.
“We found the products did this and more, by enabling new ways of bringing the curriculum to life.
“We look forward to demonstrating our own successes with a view to enabling other schools to reap similar benefits.”
