Youngsters from a Bedlington school have slept ‘rough’ for a night to raise money for charity.
Pupils at Bedlingtonshire Community High School spent the night sleeping outside to raise money to help homeless people, and raise awareness of World Homeless Day.
The youngsters met at Dr Pit Park and slept on cardboard boxes for the night.
NCS Development Worker, Lee Renfree, said: “Ross Thompson from Making Winter Warmer For Those Without came along to talk to us about the reasons people can become homeless, the differences between homeless and rough sleeping, and what the charity does.”
The pupils raised around £350 from their night.
