Ten sites across the Morpeth area have been targeted for speeding motorists.
During March, neighbourhood officers and Community Speedwatch volunteers visited sites where residents had raised concerns.
Operations were carried out at locations including the A196 Morpeth Road, Pegswood, Ulgham, Longhirst, and Hepscott.
In total, 1,615 vehicles were checked and of those 25 were caught speeding and were given warnings.
An operation was also carried out to stop and check vehicles for road traffic related offences.
Over 25 vehicles were stopped and checked for red diesel and none were found to have the illegal fuel.
Neighbourhood Sergeant Sharon Wilmore Greaves said: “Morpeth is a safe and pleasant place to live and we will continue to work to make sure it remains this way.”
