Hundreds of pounds have been raised to help continue to save lives at sea.
Volunteers from Newbiggin lifeboat station are celebration after £620 was raised at their annual Easter fair, with around £250 from souvenir sales.
A station spokesperson said: “The bad weather promised held off for the fair on Easter Sunday, and the many visitors enjoyed a windy but sunny afternoon on the seafront.
“Hot drinks and cake all round, along with the tombola and bric-a-brac sale, souvenirs together with games of chance proved a hit.
“Stormy Stan paid us a visit to bring the supporters into the boathouse.
“Many thanks to everyone who supported us.”
