Hundreds of north east businesses attended a special event to help boost the sale of locally made goods.
The ‘Meet the Maker, Meet the Buyer’ event took place at Blyth Sports Centre, and was organised by Northumberland County Council as part of its drive to support local businesses.
More than 120 sellers promoted their wares including local food and drink producers, artists, crafts people and musicians, alongside trade buyers.
Northumberland County Councillor, Val Tyler, policy board member for community infrastructure and culture, said: “Our aim in organising this event was to bring as many of these local companies as possible together to open up new networking and business opportunities for them and help keep trading local.
“I hope the event acted as a catalyst for lots of fruitful business ventures.”
