Survey hitting the road

Residents’ views on roads in the county will be compared to other parts of the country in a national survey looking at highways and transport services.

A questionnaire is being sent out to a minimum 4,500 homes.

Northumberland County Council is one of 70 authorities to sign up to the survey that asks people the same questions.

The results will highlight what services people believe are important and help the council assess its performance and what areas to improve.
