Volunteers have braved wet and cold weather to create a cleaner haven for wildlife.
EE employee Kim Stubbs rallied her colleagues to help clean up unsightly fly-tipping from area of Cambois that had attracted a colony of swans.
Kim said: “A few residents had made a Facebook page as a colony of swans had descended there, but fly-tipping, general rubbish and boy racers were making it unsafe.
“I work for EE who offer employees 16 hours paid leave to volunteer for good causes.
“So as a team we decided to use this to do a clean up of the area.
“The day went well despite the weather, it was awful, raining and windy, but it was a success, and a few of the residents including their kids turned out.”
