TWO sisters from Stakeford pooled their talents to raise more than £200 for charity.

Danielle and Natalie Hodgson staged an art and music event at St Nicholas Cathedral in Newcastle, which raised £240 for the Northumberland Wildlife Trust.

Danielle, 21, an art student at Newcastle College, organised the event as part of a final year project and Natalie, 19, who studies events management, was on side to offer her expertise.

Danielle said: “I have always been interested in wildlife and believe in all that the trust does and stands for, so what better charity to support?

“And with Natalie studying events management, it was a case of two heads being better than one.”
