It was time for tea at a Cramlington care home as a special treat for families.
Staff at Northlea Court set out sparkling white tablecloths, pretty pink napkins and the best tableware as they presented delicate delights in a Mother’s Day afternoon tea.
The event was organised by personal activities leader Maz Gracie, with the help of chef Claire Metcalf and her staff Susan Hurst and Dawn Bowes.
The tea was designed to celebrate all mothers and the inspiration they provide.
Home administrator Yvonne Pearson said: “A fantastic day was had by residents and families alike.”
The Four Seasons home, at the Brockwell Centre in Northumbrian Road, offers residential, nursing, short-stay and palliative care.
