A teen has been assaulted with a bottle in Northumberland.

At 10:15pm on Wednesday, June 10, a 17-year-old boy was skateboarding on Links Road in Blyth, when he was approached by a new shape dark blue Ford Focus.

One of the occupants from the car threw a bottle at the boy and it hit him in the face.

It happened near to the south entrance of the Port of Blyth. The boy wasn’t injured but was left shaken by the incident.
