Visitors to a south east Northumberland shopping centre have had the chance to meet a top TV dog this week.
Cramlington’s Manor Walks Shopping and Leisure played host to a family favourite television character this weekend as Scooby-Doo made a special trip to Cramlington, boosting footfall figures at the centre by ten per cent year-on-year.
Children from across the region had the opportunity to see their favourite mystery solving Great Dane during his visit to Northumberland’s largest retail and leisure destination on Sunday, February 22.
Free meet and greet sessions with the popular children’s television character were offered in Centre Mall and there was also opportunities for families to take photos of the popular character.
Manor Walks’ general manager Bruno Coppola said: “Hosting free events for our local communities to enjoy is a great way to reward our loyal visitors.
“Character meet and greet events are always a huge hit with families and Scooby-Doo’s appearance at Manor Walks created a great atmosphere in the centre.
“As a well-loved character by many, the event was certainly popular as we saw a ten per cent footfall increase year-on-year.”
