Bedlington Terriers 0

Bedlington Terriers gained no reward from a good performance at Darlington RA on Saturday as they went down 1-0.

The winning goal game in first-half injury time when Longstaff scored from a rebound after keeper Jak Wells had made a save.

In the first 20 minutes Bedlington could have been five ahead - the keeper denying Rodgers, who also hit the woodwork, as did Scott, who also had an effort kicked off the line, while a Hall effort was somehow diverted away by the keeper as he was diving the wrong way.

Darlington gradually got a foothold in the game and Wells had to make a couple of good saves while another great effort hit the post before they went in front.

In the second half RA hit the post, but good goalkeeping at bioth ends meant there was no further scoring.
