I would like to express my sincere thanks to the two women who assisted my elderly mother when she fell outside her bungalow in School Avenue on Thursday, July 11, injuring both her legs and bumping her head.
I am extremely grateful that they picked her up, dressed her wounds and summoned help via the Warden Control Centre.
Thanks also to the warden who summoned an ambulance and contacted my son immediately.
I’m not quite so impressed with those car owners who were double parked outside the bungalows (a daily occurrence), meaning that neither the rapid response paramedic or the ambulance could get anywhere near.
Maybe reading this will make them a little more considerate in future.
