The words are not matched by deeds

THE letter from Barrie Crowther (News Post Leader, September 6) exhorting Northumberland County Council to listen to the people of Cramlington is most welcome.

It is, however, in stark contrast to his attitude towards those same people of Cramlington whose voices he most certainly does not want to hear.

This, I think, is the same councillor who, with his Liberal Democrat group on Cramlington Town Council, voted for the abolition of public question time before the monthly council meeting and voted, indeed, for the almost total abolition of the monthly council meeting in favour of an executive council thereby excluding four elected councillors from taking an active part in town council business.

Coun Crowther’s words are not matched by his deeds and by his deeds do you know him.
