Time for villagers to express views

ONCE again the community of Holywell village will be denied essential transport links as a result of the planned, proposed changes, by Arriva to routes 57, 57A and the X4.

Where and when was there any consultation with the service users?

What support is Northumberland County Council and Seaton Valley Parish Council giving to the residents to enable accessible travel?

Perhaps it is time for the villagers to express their views and investigate the possibility of acquiring a different bus company to provide a much needed transport system.

The newly introduced route 19 service run by Go North East is providing a friendly, easy access, useful and a prompt timetable via Holywell village to some destinations – why can’t Arriva follow this example?
