An Easter five-a-side football tournament organised by the police and partners in Morpeth has been hailed a success.
Seven teams of youngsters aged between 12 and 14 took part in the tournament run by Morpeth neighbourhood policing team.

The event, which is now in its tenth year, took place at Morpeth Leisure Centre with help from partners including Active Northumberland, who supplied the facilities, and a local business who provided refreshments.
They were joined by the Bad Apples Youth Project, who ran an alternative Circus Skills workshop and other activities including face painting, glitter tattoos while participants were waiting their turn to play.
Neighbourhood Sergeant Sharon Wilmore-Greaves said: “This event was really enjoyable for the families and friends who took part or just came to watch.”
This year the winning team was Stanny Bantz.
