Preparations for a Christmas fair are getting under way in Blyth.
Lesley Bell and Martin Tulip, of the Blyth Development Trust, are making arrangements for a festive fair on Saturday and Sunday, December 5 and 6, in a heated marquee in the market square.
A total of 25 stalls offering a range of festive treats from local traders are planned for the market, along with a hog roast.
There will be real Christmas trees for sale, with a delivery service.
There will also be a Santa’s grotto, in which Father Christmas, accompanied by two elves, will meet children.
The event will run from 10am until 4pm on both days.
It will also feature choirs singing Christmas carols and dance groups putting on performances.
