Warning after medication lost in Northumberland

Police are warning people of the dangers of taking medication that is not prescribed to them after drugs were lost in Northumberland.

The drugs were reported missing at around 2.30pm on Wednesday, September 23, when a drip feed pack that a man had with him was lost in the QE2 park area of Ashington.

The pack contains a quantity of morphine and could be harmful if taken by anyone who has not been prescribed them.

Officers in Northumberland are warning anyone who comes across them to be on guard.

If you do find the medication, or knows of its whereabouts, you should hand it in to police straight away.
