Teams who took part in a charity swim were honoured for their efforts at a special ceremony.
Morpeth Town Council hosted the 16 teams who took part in the Lions’ Charity Swim, organised by Morpeth Lions, to raise money for local clubs and charities.
Mayor Coun Joan Tebbutt was on hand to present the prizes.
Haribos, a group of Morpeth Middle School children, won the trophy for the most lengths swum in the allocated 55 minutes while the team who raised the most sponsorship money was the Early Birds.
The presentation was compered by Lion Les Brindley, who organises the charity swim.
