Wristbands for a firework display along Blyth’s Quayside are now on sale.
Blyth Town Council will present the town’s firework display on November 1.
Councillor Kath Nisbet, chair of Blyth Town Council’s events committee, said: “We welcome people from Blyth and our neighbours across the region to come along and experience a warm Blyth welcome.
“As well as a fantastic fireworks display, this year’s event will be a progression from the events of the last two years, with a spectacular light show illuminating the whole Quayside, including the lighting of the historic lighthouse on Bath Terrace.”
Paul Taylor, director of event management company Community Works, added: “In 2013 and 2014 the event was supported by people from all over the north east, and has been widely hailed as one of, if not the best value for money fireworks events anywhere in the region.”
The event will open at 2pm and will continue through to the launch of the fireworks at 6.30pm.
There will also be live music from The Great and the Magnificent and Frankie and the Heart Strings, local performers, street entertainment and a fun fair with rides for the whole family.
Entry to the event will be by wristband, which are £1 and available in advance only from the Keel Row shopping centre.
