Family and friends were delighted to be following young stars to their Cramlington school as it staged a traditional Nativity.
Reception classes at Cragside Church of England Primary School presented a fantastic version of Come To The Manger at the school.
The four-year-olds impressed the audience with their telling of the Christmas story as Joseph and Mary struggled to find a room for the night and ended up in a Bethlehem stable, where Jesus was born, attracting the attention of shepherds and kings, not to mention angels.
There was super singing from the youngsters, including solos by the Donkey and Oxen, loud reading voices and great dancing by the stars, with real regal performances by the Kings.
There are two reception classes at the school – the Explorers and Discoverers – and both took part in the festive production.
