More than 300 people enjoyed a community event at a park in south east Northumberland.
Astley Park in Seaton Delaval played host to the summer event where children, young people and adults took part in activities including go-karting and bungee trampolining.
The summer festival was organised by Active Northumberland in partnership with Seaton Valley Parish Council and other key partners including Barnardo’s, youth services, library services, local sports clubs and community groups.
The event is a key community event in the Seaton Valley calendar having taken place for the past two years, and this year specifically targeted the communities of Seaton Delaval and Holywell.
Health and fitness officer at Blyth Valley Arts and Leisure, Michael Firek, said: “The targets of the event included increasing community involvement, resident cohesion and community celebration.
“These targets were achieved with the help of local partners and groups contributing to the event, providing opportunities for all ages and audiences of the community, and incorporating a healthy lifestyle message to the event.
“As well as community attendance, event outcomes included local services awareness, sense of community ownership and local community research to assist on-going projects.”
Through parish council funding, Active Northumberland deliver community activities within the five localities of Seaton Valley.
