Your chance to take part in talent show

A popular north east talent show is looking for contestants.

Northumberland’s Got Talent competition, which is open to any age, background or ability, is in its eighth year and offers performers from the county the opportunity to shine on a massive stage.

Auditions for Northumberland’s Got Talent are set to take place on Wednesday, May 13, setting the stage for the grand final which will form part of ‘The Big Event 4’ at Attlee Park in Bedlington on Saturday, June 20.

The family fun day, which is organised by local charity Leading Link, is in its fourth year and last year attracted in excess of 3000 people on a sizzling summer day in June.

Previous winners of the competition have included singer Chloe Wealleans-Watts, ‘Cat in the Hat’ Lucy Conroy and most recently swinging sixties star Lewis Hill, who went on to win the Northumberland Live! talent competition at Blyth beach last summer.

Auditions will take place on a timeslot based system on May 13 between 3.30pm and 6.30pm at The Lodge in Bedlington, Northumberland.

To apply to audition, simply fill in the online form at www.leadinglink.co.uk or call (01670) 820088.
