I am writing to thank the people who helped my elderly mother after she fell in the car park next to the old Morrisons store in Morpeth on the evening of Thursday, February 18.
My mother fell onto her face and it began to bleed. Several extremely kind people came to her aid. A lady held her in her arms, and a young woman held her hand, while a gentleman called for an ambulance.
I live many hundreds of miles away from my mother, but I want to thank these wonderful people who came to her aid and offered her comfort.
I would like to let them know that she is home and doing well, albeit with a very bruised face.
She has had lots of visitors and is being well taken care of.
She would also like to pass her thanks on to the kind people who helped her.
Many, many thanks.
Mrs HJ Brunt
