Another superb bowling performance from Blyth’s Dave Ebdale saw Clara Vale bowled out in 32 overs at Plessey Road.
Ebdale has now taken 20 wickets in his last four games.
Blyth skipper Mark Lawrence put the visitors in and openers Khan and M Ahmed eased themselves in as David Dent and Ebdale struggled to make an early breakthrough.
It took to Dent’s fifth over, with the score on to 25, to break the partnership as Quinn stumped Khan for five.
The next four overs saw the Clara middle order all back in the pavilion.
M Ahmed batted for 40 minutes before he was cleaned bowled by Ebdale for 21.
Ebdale then trapped Saeed lbw for one and two balls later bowled Amin for a duck. Then Dent had Iqbal caught by Lawrence for four.
Ashraf and Mohammed managed to hang around and put a stand of 26 together.
But once again Ebdale broke the stand when he bowled Ashraf for 17 and new batsman Ali followed three balls later when he became Ebdale’s fifth wicket, trapped lbw without scoring.
Singh came on next over replacing Dent. Mohammed and Akram held firm and saw off Ebdales remaining three overs however, both had lucky escapes as both was dropped off Ebdale. Skipper Lawrence came on to replace Ebdale from the Rugby end.
Mohammed and Akram had moved the score on to 94 when Singh bowled Akram for 15.
H Ahmed was last man in and Quinn stumped him in Singh’s next over for one.
Mohammed remained 27 not out in the total of 96.
Blyth’s bowling figures were Ebdale 5-29, Dent 2-36, Singh 2-20, Lawrence 0-8.
In their reply, Blyth lost Dent in the third over, bowled by Ashraf for two, then Purma was out for four.
Opener Andy Clark was joined by Hudspith and the pair took control and went passed the 50-partnership.
With 16 runs required Amin bowled Hudspith for 36 after a partnership of 70 in 16 overs.
Skipper Lawrence made his mark first ball by hitting Amin for a huge six, and he and Clark saw Blyth to their target.
Clark batted through to finish 38 not out including five fours. Lawrence remained 18 not out.
