Blyth earned a 63-run win over Blue Flames at Plessey Road on Saturday.
Put into bat, Blyth welcomed back Chris Harwood and Andy Clark to the starting XI.
Dent and Harwood got Blyth off to a steady start before a poor shot selection saw Dent caught for 19 off the bowling of F Khan.
Harwood went for 14, caught by Qureshi with Baig the bowler, and Purvis soon followed for five.
Skipper Lawrence and Clark steadied the innings until Clark went lbw for ten.
Kemp never got going and went for six then Lawrence was next out when on 24.
Rowell went for seven before Quinn came in and pushed to score a second batting point.
However, he was running out of partners – Smith (1) and Ebdale (1) both came and went before he was out for 21 as Blyth were all out for 135.
Blue Flames bowling figures were F Khan 1-37, J Qureshi 0-15, A Khan 2-28, B Baig 2-27, A Faisal 4-22 and U Afaq 1-8.
Blyth opening bowlers soon made inroads into the Flames batting.
Andy Kemp took two quick wickets before Dave Ebdale joined in with another two wickets to rip out the top four Flames batsmen.
Skipper Lawrence made a double bowling change, bringing Singh and himself on.
This pair ripped through the rest of the batting as Blue Flames were all out for 72.
Blyth’s bowling figures were A Kemp 2-16, D Ebdale 2-31, M Lawrence 3-5 and S Singh 3-10.
Blyth are top of the table by one point from Bedlington.
