Blyth seconds go down at Warenford

Blyth seconds travelled up the A1 to take on Warenford with ten players.

Warenford batted first and made 210-6, with Patterson (39), Kevin Thompson (37) and Sinton (35) all making major scores.

Although some off Blyth’s fielding was excellent. Ben Blackett stood out with some first rate work on the boundary.

Blyth’s reply started slowly and a familiar problem returned after a good start as the batting collapsed with only D Carr (25) and F Carrigan reaching double figures.

J Patterson ripped the batting apart with 5-8 from 5.5 overs.
