Ashington Woodhorn Lane Ladies are looking to build on their growing success.
The outfit were set up in 2013 as Ashington’s only ladies football side.
Following a successful first season where they finished runners-up in the Northumberland County Women’s Football League, they are currently preparing for the 2014-15 season.
A spokesperson said: “We are hoping for even more success with the senior ladies’ team and would also love to see some new faces joining the team in order for us to progress further.
“Due to the success of our senior ladies’ side, we are looking to expand and bring in some junior sides over the coming months, and with this in mind, are looking for experienced coaches to help us to build a girls’ section within the club with an aim of starting to play from the 2015-16 season.”
If anyone is interested in either playing for the ladies’ side or becoming a coach for the girls’ section and would like to discuss this, they should contact chairman Brian Robinson on 07899 985516.
