REAL Ashington continued their dominance at the top of MB Socca Leagues division one as they won the top of the table clash with V & N Jewellers 3-1

In another pulsating game at Ashington’s Hirst Welfare Centre, Multiple Scoregasms stormed in to a 3-1 lead at half-time only for Bankhouse to stage a remarkable comeback to snatch all three points in a dramatic 4-3 win.

The final game in the first saw a cat and mouse enounter with Station Boys eventually seeing off a reselient ACE United to win 1-0.

Barring a dramatic u-turn, Whipping Boys will be crowned division two champions after they beat Ashington All Stars 3-0 to stay nine points clear.

Station FC recorded the same scoreline over Red Devils but need to win their last three games and overturn a 14-goal deficit, and for The Whipping Boys to lose all three, to pip them to the title.

The last game saw Newsham beat Ashington Blue Stars 3-0.
