THE Blyth and Wansbeck Sunday League had sides in NFA Sunday Minor Cup action with Bedlington Community progressing to the fourth round.
They won 3-2 at Blyth Spartans Under-19s thanks to goals from Michael Robinson, Jamie Graham and Antony Harrison.
Monkseaton Arms were unlucky as they went out against Cramlington Benedictine 3-0.
West Allotment reached the semi-final of the Eric Anderson Cup with a 4-2 home win against Ashington Central. Ben Gilroy scored a hat-trick for the home side with Michael Hartley also on target. Gary Wallace and David Laing scored for Central.
In the premier division, Burradon and New Fordley maintained top spot with a 3-0 home win over Blyth Comrades. On target was Paul Alexander (2) and Daniel Young.
Ashington Mortimer continued their push to catch Burradon with a 2-0 win at Whitley Bay Seahorse through goals from Trevor Newman and Brent Aisbitt.
Division one saw Cowpen Percy Arms get back to winning ways with a 5-1 home win against Blyth Seahorse – Steven Rylatt (2), Dang Hi Vuong, Ross Temple and Paul Cotterill scored. Martyn Hepple scored for Seahorse.
Whitley Lodge Kittiwake won 4-1 at home against Ashington White House, who had Kieron Little on target.
Blyth Masons Arms came from two goals down at home to Ashington Grand but lost 4-2. Steven Elsey scored both for Masons. Graham Todd (3) and Daniel Donnelly scored for Grand.
Blyth South Beach had a hard fought 4-3 at home to High Street. Goals for Beach came from Joe Betts (2), Mark Richardson and Redmond Cockburn. On target for Street were Anthony Goldie (2) and Anthony Marshall.
Division two basement side AE Phoenix went down to New Hartley 8-2, who had David Hope (2), Andrew Shandran, Clark Gunn, Terry Clough, Carl French, Scott Evans and Nicky Eastlake on target. Goals for Phoenix came from Alex Richardson and Luke Carr.
In a close game, Ashington Grand Street lost 2-1 at home against Marden Residents. Chris Hogg scored for Street.
Blyth Ridley Park went down 3-0 at home against the Bay Horse.
Cramlington Phoenix won 2-1 at home against Newsham Black Diamond. Mark Race and Chris Frazer scored for Phoenix. Joe Rose was on target for Diamond.
