Bedlington Town Bulldogs FC U13s girls won ESF Festival of Football in Warwick.
Having earned the right to attend the finale after their success at the ESF event in Disneyland Paris, the Bulldogs topped their table after winning all five games and only conceding one goal.
They finished first, five points ahead of runners-up, Southampton Saints Girls.
With more than 1,100 boys and girls’ teams participating every year, the ESF events are one of the UK’s biggest youth football festivals, so winning is no mean feat.
Michael Third, from Bedlington Town Bulldogs FC, said: “We’ve had a fantastic time at the ESF Festival of Football Finale, what a great series of events.
“Since we won the event in Disneyland Paris we’ve had our eyes on the finale, and we’re delighted to come home with the trophy.
“I’m delighted that the kids were able to showcase their talent against the best of the best from across the country. I’m very proud of what we’ve achieved and we’ll definitely find a suitable way to celebrate.”
