Biggin’s seven puts them top

THERE was no stopping The Biggin at The Hirst Welfare Centre last Thursday night as they went top in the MB Socca League division one with a resounding 7-0 victory.

Newbiggin Blaze were on the end of Biggin’s slick passing and finishing to put them one point clear.

Previous leaders Real Ashington faced current champs Base FC and there was no quarter given by either side as it ended in a 1-1 draw.

North Seaton Elephant crept into joint second but did not have it all their own way as they faced a resilient Multiple Scoregasms and just managed a 2-1 victory.

Newly joined St Ella are still finding their feet and were unlucky to lose1-0 against Sparta Hatbreath.

The performance of the night had to go to The Whipping Boys as they went against their team name and smashed six past leaders Station FC with only one in reply.

A convincing display of finishing saw them move into a menacing third position in the league.

As a result Station Boys now overtake their counterparts on goal difference as they narrowly defeated The Doggers 2-1.

Brazilliant are really in form and they continued their impressive recent performances with a 4-1 victory over Not In Service.

Ashington All Stars put five past pointless A Town Rangers with no reply.
