Blyth Town and Bedlington miss semi’s

It was cup quarter-final day in the Northern Alliance League on Saturday with two local sides in action.

Unfortunately, neither Blyth Town or Bedlington FC were able to make it through to the semi-finals of their respective competitions.

Blyth Town faced Newcastle Blue Star at home in the QF of the Gardner Cup, where they went down 0-2.

Meanwhile, in the League Cup, Bedlington FC hosted Cullercoats, but they went down 1-5.

In Division 1, Blyth Spartans Reserves took a point from a 2-2 away draw at Whitburn & Cleadon whilst Cramlington United won 2-0 away to Hexham.

In Division 2, Newbiggin drew 1-1 at home with Cramlington Town, whilst Blyth Fc lost 3-1 at Newcastle Univ A.
