Blyth Town Barca U13 girls are well into the current season and have enjoyed a winning start to the league campaign in their first six games.
They are looking for at least one more player, possibly two to join them and play the third most popular team sport in the UK after men’s football and cricket.
The team enjoy days out away from football, including a recent trip to Blackpool, the Kirkley Hall Adventure Park and were mascots for the day at Newcastle United Women’s FC.
They train on a Tuesday evening at Tynedale School, Blyth, on the new artificial grass under floodlights between 7pm and 8pm and they play their matches at Benfield Sports Centre in Newcastle on Saturday mornings.
Anybody interested in joining the team can get in touch via their website www.clubwebsite.co.uk/blythtownbarca or contact coach Johnathan Land on 07891 050492.
