Bowman hat-trick gets Sporting back to winning ways

Michael Bowman crashed in a hat-trick as Killingworth Station got back to winning ways against Northbank in the Northern Alliance premier division.

Lee Hamilton got the other with Mark Worrall (2) and Martin Blair on target for the visitors in a 4-32 win for Sporting.

Paul Newton-Eddy also claimed a hat-trick as Red House Farm stormed to a 5-1 success at Shankhouse. Mark Sheeran bagged a brace with Niall Younger netting a consolation.

Danny Hill’s early strike put Rutherford ahead against Whitley Bay A, but the Seahorses hit back four times after the break – Andrew Robertson (2), Alex Kemster and Ryan Keltie scoring.

Scott Jasper, John Wyres, Anthony Errington and Liam Climpson fired in for North Shields Athletic as they beat Bedlington Terriers Reserves, who had Ian Sinclair and Andy Mogwo score. Goals from Dean Laycock, Ian Hutchinson and Steve Mclaughlin gave Chemfica the points against Cullercoats with James Ritson replying while Gosforth Bohemians drew with Ponteland United.

Marcus Burn (2) and Ryan Charlton netted for Bohs, Thomas Skidmore, Liam Anderson and Dan Wright notching for United.

Dan Robinson hit a last minute winner for Heddon against Willington Quay Saints. He got on the scoresheet earlier to add to Lawrence Hales-Crisp’s opener, with Callum Ancrum and Anthony Bruce chalking up for the visitors.
