Burradon and New Fordley retained the Standard Security Blyth and Wansbeck Sunday League premier division title with a 2-0 home win over Ashington Grand.
Michael Chilton scored both goals for the home side.
Blyth South Beach and Broomhill North End Trap produced a seven-goal thriller as Beach clinched the points by the odd goal. On target for Beach were Kevin Long, Lee Seller, Andrew Haigh and Ryan McKee. Goals for Trap came from Phil Airey, Ronnie Warwick and Peter Godfrey.
Forest Hall had a fine 2-1 win at home against North Shields Wooden Doll, who missed a last minute penalty. Goals for Hall came from Jamie Laidlaw and Michael Jordan. Lee Kelly scored Wooden Doll’s consolation.
Division one saw title winners Blyth Last Orders win 5-2 at Ashington Conchie, who has David Thompson and Jordan Hancock on target. But goals from Andrew Scott (2), Keith Woodrow, Ross Gilchrist and Mathew Crook won it.
Blyth High Street won 5-0 at home against league runners-up Red Lion Bedlington with goals from Chris Laidlaw (2), Anthony Goldie, Michael Johnson and Ryan Glynn.
East Chevinghton also won at home, 4-1 against FC Beacon. Nigel Morris scored the consolation for Beacon with Mark Smith, Simon Reay, Brad Cooper and Calvin Baston finding the back of the net for East Chevington.
