Double figures for Sporting

WEATHER conditions were perfect Thursday night as MB Socca Leagues staged another night of football at the Hirst Welfare Centre in Ashington.

First division leaders Real Ashington are moving in to top gear again and it will take some team to take their title off them this season.

They played a hard fast pressing game and looked slick as they beat bottom team Ashington All Stars 6-1.

Joint at the top are The Grand, and they just got over the line to claim all three points as they pipped Ashalona FC 2-1 to move on to 12 points.

Bayern Neverlusen were awarded a 3-0 victory over Station Boys who failed to turn up. A new team is in place to replace them this week.

Sporting Abeergut were easily the best goalscorers as they found the back of the net an impressive ten times with none in reply from Morpeth FC to move into second spot.

Top team Station FC had their work cut out but took all three points as they beat ACE United 2-1.

The final game saw bottom team The Portland claim their first point with a 2-2 draw against Bubbles.
