NORTH Seaton are back but it is Base FC who remain at the top after week three of the MB Socca Leagues’ Thursday Night 6-a-side competition.

It was then that the night really came alive as champions Base FC took on promoted side The Biggin.

All went to plan for Base as they took a 4-1 lead but as the game reached the closing stages The Biggin pulled two back, but Base hung on for the win.

Division two kicked off with surprise leaders Station FC taking on new boys Newbiggin Bad Boys.

A young Newbiggin side were no match for their opponents and it ended 5-0 to Station FC.

The Doggers won their match 2-1 against Ashington All-Stars and second placed The Grand beat A-Town Rangers 3-0.

It was left to relegated side Station Boys to boast the highest score as they showed why they were once a division one side by beating Brazilliant 8-1.
