The home side took the lead after 24 minutes when a cross was turned in at the near post. Two minutes later it was 2-0 when an attacker dribbled through, cut the ball back and it was fired home.

Terriers were then awarded a penalty but Sharpe’s spot kick was saved.

The second half saw Terriers concede a fourth goal after 64 minutes when they were caught on the break and the scoring was completed after 82 minutes when a poor back pass exposed goalkeeper Callum Corkhill and was put away.
