Football club starts up junior girls’ nursery

Blyth Town Football Club has a well-established football nursery for boys aged four to six every Saturday morning from 10am to 11am at South Newsham Pavilion.

And as a partner of the Newcastle United Foundation, its coaches will be undertaking sessions with the assistance of the club’s staff.

The club has now decided to launch a nursery section for girls aged four to seven, again with the assistance of the foundation.

The first session for the girls will be on Saturday, October 12, at 10am.

To celebrate this, England international, ex-Blyth Town and current league champion with Liverpool Ladies, Lucy Bronze, visited the clubhouse on Tuesday evening to help launch the girls’ nursery.
