THERE was goals flying in left right and centre at the Hirst Welfare Centre last Thursday night where an average of seven per game were notched in the MB Socca Leagues.
Division one leaders Real Ashington were suprisingly one of the lowest scorers with three, but this was still enough to win the top of the table clash 3-1 against The Grand to see Real open up a three-point gap after seven games.
Ashalona FC played some fast flowing football to give promoted Bayern Neverlusen the run around as they won 6-2 to give them some much need boost to their points tally
It was the same score for newly joined Front Street Boys as they have made an impressive start in beating Ashington All Stars and sit just three points behind the leaders.
Sporting Abeergut hang on to top spot in the second division but only just as they were involved in a great tussle with Bubbles FC.
Bubbles were 1-0 and 2-1 up but they were pegged back twice and then with only 90 seconds Sporting clinched the winner in dramatic fashion with a quality goal.
ACE United stay second as they met their rivals Morpeth FC and claimed bragging rights with a 7-2 victory.
The last game was a goal feast too as Station FC beat The Portland 6-2.
