Good win for Reserves

DYLAN Williamson, Simon Brown, Ronnie Foreman and Jake Turnbull netted for Bedlington Terriers Reserves as they won 4-1 at Whickham Lang Jack in the Northern Alliance.

Meanwhile in the NFA Benevolent Bowl, Joe Wear fired Heaton Stannington ahead at Seaton Delaval on five minutes, and although Paul Katz levelled in the 88th minute, Russell Ward grabbed the winner for Stannington in the 90th.

Ponteland United were reduced to eight men as they went down 1-0 to Alnwick Town, Brian Murray getting the winner in the 70th minute, and danny Beresford hit a hat-trick for Blyth Town as they advanced with a 4-0 success over Walker Central. Lee Richardson got the other.

Amble United’s Josh Hay and Sean Taylor got doubles as they romped to a 5-0 success at Cramlington Town.

Late goals from Christian Priest and Ant Moran weren’t enough for Shankhouse as they went down 5-2 at Prudhoe.
