AFTER knocking out Prudhoe in both the Senior Cup and FA Cup, Ashington completed a hat-trick and progressed in the League Cup with a 6-2 win over their Tyneside opponents.
Ashington took an early lead when Stacey Naples ran onto a Meghan Tighe through ball to slot home.
The visitors equalised following a scramble in the box.
Chances fell for both sides before Tighe put Ashington back in front.
Minutes later, Tighe added to her tally with another to make it 3-1, but minutes before half-time Prudhoe were awarded a penalty and Moore scored
The visitors came out strong at the start of the second half and had several chances with Ashington’s Laura Powell making a couple of good saves.
Angels debutant Courtney Vacher, who came on as a substitute, was then scythed down in the area and picked herself up to blast home the penalty to make it 4-2.
Karen Wright also got on the scoresheet after a superb solo mazy run and the scoring was completed by Vacher.
On Sunday Ashington are at home to Cramlington Juniors at Pegswood Welfare, 1.30pm.
